I love when Rock Hard Wrestling produces a Tag Team match (not that I don’t love their singles matches too…) Here is a look at their most recent release: Brutally Bashed. Rock Hard does such a good job with their Tag Team battles, as if they have a checklist of hot wrestling scenes and turn-ons, and they just work their way down the list, driving me crazy as the four men in the ring check off each box:
- Matching gear (Check! You ought to see Aaron and Ethan in their matching golden boy shorts designed to pronounce their packages…)
- Outside partner gets involved in the action (Check!)
- Being able to see the waiting partner in the far corner (Check!)
- Double-Teaming (Check! Both teams cheat and play the bad boys for a time.)
- Exquisite suffering (Four checks! Each of the four wrestlers take a turn as Face In Peril, although the focus is on “Wimpy Boy” Aaron Travers)
- Nasty Trash Talk (Check!)
It is the final bullet point where Rock Hard Wrestling truly excels. Both men in the ring and their outside partners enter into a taunting, teasing dialogue for the entire match, and we can hear them loud and clear. (Maybe they did place microphones in the corner posts, as I recommended in a previous article about Tag Team trash talk…)
The cocky wrestlers all make side comments, threaten, yell across the ring at the man in the far corner, and try to verbally humiliate their victim. They insult their opponents, expound on their own power and skills, and offer encouragement (or perhaps condescension) to their own partner in the ring. It’s well done, really — do these guys write their own material? Even if you download this video and listen with your eyes closed, you will still get off on the trash talk (although why would anyone want to miss seeing pretty-boy Aaron Travers getting broken by his two sadistic enemies??)
The captions under the above images (except the very first image) are actual quotes that I heard while enjoying this match — snide little comments that one of the competitors uttered to build himself and his partner up, tear down the competition, and in some cases, tear down his own partner.
Starting with the image below, a few of today’s captions are quotes from the Rock Hard Wrestling website where this video is available for download. The match descriptions on the Rock Hard website are also very well done: provocative, colorful, and titillating (the descriptions certainly help Rock Hard live up to its name.) In addition to the fantastic trash talk between teams and team-mates, the suffering is also very well done. All of the wrestlers take a turn at being the Face-in-Peril, but damn, this rookie Aaron Travers is just a work of art. He is so darn cute and suffers so pathetically, he just breaks your heart and makes you want to cuddle him. He’s like a baby seal getting clubbed — poor lil seal!
Jason and Will in their blue and white gear focus on Aaron’s exposed body, driving repeated shoulders and kicks into his mid-section, causing him to curl up in the fetal position several times (which doesn’t stop them from stomping his ribs some more, the effing BULLIES!) Their snow white boots prove to be lethal weapons.
The trash talk is top notch, and the wrestling is pretty darn impressive for an Underground production as well. The cocky British man tries to snap poor Aaron in two pieces in a Torture Rack — really? A Torture Rack? I love Rock Hard wrestling.
