Indian Uprising, Part 2 of 2

Jinder assaults Randy’s shoulder with a ruthless focus.

When we last checked in with Orton about a week ago, he was looking nervous knowing he was about to suffer a beating from the angrier, stronger, darker Jinder Mahal at the 5/21 Backlash pay-per-view.

Sure enough, soon after the bell, Jinder whips Randy into the edge of the ring to injure his shoulder, which then becomes the focus of some wonderfully intense punishment.  Watch Randy sell it like he’s in an orgasm.

I just love it when the Heel says: “Ask him, ref!”

Much of the match involved Jinder looking angry and flexing his incredible muscles as he twisted poor Randy’s shoulder in these agonizing contortions.

Randy has slipped very willingly into his new role as a wimpy jobber, allowing every random New Guy to own, humiliate, and punish him.

By the way, let me mention the classic pro trunks worn by these two competitors — especially Jinder’s bejeweled emerald green gear.  This was the seventh and final match in the Backlash event and the first match where the wrestlers wore trunks.  In all six prior bouts involving 18 male and female wrestlers, not ONE of them dressed in the traditional trunks and boots look!!  What the hell, WWE?!

In the undercard bouts, we saw jeans, long tights, and tank-tops.  We saw long board shorts.  We saw a janitor costume and whatever the women wear to the ring.  But none of the 18 earlier performers dared to wear trunks and boots, a very disappointing trend in WWE which seems to be favoring less man-flesh on display. This is a big problem if WWE wants me to keep my $10/month subscription to their wrestle-porn video site!

The first decent trunks we’ve seen all night and they’re spectacular!

I was actually hoping those cute Bollywood Bad Boys would’ve gotten more involved in the bout to help Jinder win.  I love three-on-one cheating.

But they didn’t do anything to hurt Randy and actually took some stiff abuse from him.  This makes Randy’s helplessness against Jinder even more humiliating.  Jinder can kick Randy’s ass even without any help from his Boys!

Jinder comes off as a Beast in this match, a persona that matches his powerful new physique.  Randy meanwhile seems whiny, wimpy, vulnerable, and passive.

Much of the appeal of pro wrestling lies in the shift of power from the strong to the weak, from the Alpha to the New Alpha.  Seeing the Great RKO degraded like this is intoxicating.

Again Randy is helpless against Jinder’s stunning Cobra Slam.

Eventually Jinder man-handles Randy with his patented slamming finisher and pins him One, Two, Three.  The Maharajah has WON, and stripped RKO of the Gold Belt!

And Jinder defeated Randy not by using trickery, not by extensive help from his soldiers, but simply by being more Bad Ass, masculine, and aggressive!  And he looked great while doing it in his gorgeous green briefs.

Jinder’s victory poses were amazing, holding his trophy aloft with a big bulge in his pants as the shocked fans booed and jeered their new champion.

You should’ve seen all the sad, outraged expressions on the (entitled, privileged, white) faces in the crowd as this gorgeous bronze Maharajah stood spectacular and dominant over them!  I loved it, just like I loved it when American wrestlers would travel to Japan and kick the crap out of their Baby-Face heroes while the audience watches with tears in their eyes.

I’m not sure why I’m into seeing this — the foreign invader triumphant over the local hero as the fans react like they’re witnessing a rape.  It’s just another kink of mine  — a bit of Shadenfreude in me.

Maybe I enjoy Jinder’s victory over Randy because I picture Randy’s fans feeling turned on against their will from seeing their hero degraded, unable to avert their eyes because the image both angers and arouses them.  It’s like the entire audience, not just their pretty white hero, is being degraded by this spectacular and ruthless Heel, and they secretly enjoy it.

Here is an arrogant pose by the dominant Indians, celebrating their conquest — again I love it.  These studs are too cool, and Jinder looks like a swole beast.

They should do something more to Randy to really cap off his epic humiliation — drag his ass back to his locker room and really punish him.  Long live the Maharajah!
