I found an old folder buried deep in my Hard Drive containing images of wrestlers reclining their bodies across the corner ropes. It’s a very arrogant pose — yet another pro wrestling gimmick that gets me worked up. So let me share these images of this cocky pose so I can delete the folder…
Check out the Tag Team partners in their gold and black tights. They taunt their opponents with a Double Rope Recliner, both of them laying on the ropes at the same time. It almost looks like they’re in bunk beds, with the long-haired pretty-boy accepting the bottom bunk.
Below is another demonstration of Tag Team arrogance. One member of the Fantastics implements a Headscissor while his partner lays across the ropes to mirror his position. The implication is that both men are relaxed and easily dominating their competition. I’ve always considered this a really sexy image because of how the Fantastics are basking in their power.
