Our Zack is Back

BigRyderZack Ryder had a whirlwind month.  He shocked the world at Wrestlemania by winning the Intercontinental Championship in a group ladder match.  But the very next night, he lost the coveted strap to the Miz on Raw.

Now he is back where I like him best: in Tag Team action on NXT, posing his beautiful bulges on the top rope and playing the helpless, albeit wonderfully buff, Face in Peril.  He and his partner, Mojo Rawley, wrestled on the 4/27/16 episode against Blake and Murphy.

BlakeNMurphyposersFor my fellow lovers of great pro wrestling gear, this match is a real stunner.  Three of the four studs wear fancy big-bulged multi-color trunks, with Murphy in long tights.

I never pay much attention to Ryder’s partner Mojo Rawly (because Ryder), but today Mojo is wearing these spectacular bright green boots that I can’t take my eyes off.tieup

The point where the Heels take control and we all start edging.

As mentioned in yesterday’s article, this episode of NXT had some entertaining Tag Team action and this match is no exception.  Blake and Murphy work together to assume control over their swole victim by ruining his knee. Ryder will be helpless and hurting for several delicious minutes.

I hope he enjoyed his one day — less than 24 hours — in the Alpha Male role with that gold belt around his waist.   Because just a couple weeks later, he is back on NXT, back in partnership with Mojo, and back in the Wimp role.  Welcome back, Zack.

Blake and Murphy focus like a laser on Zack’s left leg.

legworkworkHimAs beautifully as he suffers, it’s no wonder the promoters prefer to use Zack in a submissive Face-in-Peril role rather than a dominant Champion role.  That’s just good casting.  At least they threw him a bone by letting him win a belt at WrestleMania and hold onto it for one whole night.

And like a pair of old time Heels, Blake and Murphy work relentlessly on the stud’s injured leg.  This is the kind of disrespectful Tag Team wrestling I fancy.

The Hype Ryder takes Blake out.

The Hype Ryder takes Blake out.

All good things must come to an end, and eventually Zack (unfortunately) reaches a tag to Mojo Rawley, who storms the ring with his florescent green boots making me feel good all kinds of ways.

Zack demonstrates that he can actually win a match outside of his gift at WrestleMania, so long as he is partnered with an masculine Alpha Male like Mojo.  He soars off the top rope to clothesline helpless Blake under his meaty thigh.

winnersAfter the match, the Hype Bros strike their mandatory victory poses, looking spectacular in those matching green and orange trunks (especially Zack with his shredded physique.  Is he trying to give me cardiac arrest, flexing like that?!)

Anyway the Bros then suffer an attack by the Revival, who were established earlier in the night as hard-ass killers who like to punish other dudes (see yesterday’s gallery.)  The formerly triumphant team of Ryder and Rawley soon find themselves helpless at the feet of the more masculine Heels.  Oh yes!  PLEASE start a big long feud between these teams!!  I can’t WAIT to see my Zack harmed by these brutes, Dash and Dawson.

Zack winning the IC title was awesome, but he’s back where he’s best. Hopefully The Revival isolate Zack on their side of the ring for long stretches week after week after week!

Gotta be honest here. The Miz…The Miz…The Miz !!! So over WWE, and Mr. Miz. ( Which I have been for year’s now ) The same old story lines, title holder’s, grudge’s and in simple terms, Booring, oh so Booring shows. True, guy’s like Zack are well worth watching, either winning a match or better yet, loosing a match. But again, always the same old winners and loosers. The really Hot guy’s like Zach, are NEVER given the chance to grab a title ( and hold on to it ) all im sure, due to the guidence (?) of old man McMahon. Get smarter WWE…..!!! Myself and the MANY of my wrestling buddies feel the same and have stayed away from your brand, simply for the fact, The many INDIE promo’s are far more exciting ( wrestlers & matches ) than the crap you are pumping out!
