Wow, this week’s episode of Ring of Honor Wrestling made my eyes pop out of my head. This sissy-boy — Dalton Castle — entered the arena in a flamboyant gold bodysuit. As if that wasn’t homo-erotic enough, he was joined by two shirtless slaves in matching peacock feather headdresses and white loincloths who apparently attend to his every need.
Imagine my surprise when one of the slaves drops to all fours on the floor so his master, Dalton Castle, can step on his back to get in the ring. How degrading — why would a man allow another man to use him like this?!
See — this is what I love about pro wrestling. It creates this alternative universe — this Wonderland — where men own sexy slaves and everybody is shirtless.
For the next four or five days, this episode will be available on the Ring of Honor website if you want to check out this fabulous entrance — it’s pretty hot. The pride parade starts at 21:20 into the video.
You should hear the excitement in the commentators’ voices as Dalton struts his stuff: “IT’S HIM! Dalton Castle! I LOVE this guy!”
You may recognize Castle from when he portrayed another highly entertaining and innovative character: Ashley Remington. This dude really commits to his gimmicks and seems to know how to capture the hearts of the fans (and stir them up too, if you catch my drift.)
After being undressed by his slaves, Castle decides to push the homo-erotic envelope by running his fingers lovingly down his slave’s face, caressing his cheek. Castle is trying to be as creepy as he can, but rather than being disgusted by him (as they would’ve been 1o years ago), the audience seems to love this character. They pop for his queer antics as he greets them with a lispy “Salutationsss“.
One must wonder why these slaves are willingly emasculating themselves to put this odd character over. Are they also pro wrestlers hoping to make a name in the business? Did Castle promise to help them get into Ring of Honor if they agreed to act as his sex toys? Or do they actually enjoy being dominated by an Alpha Male?
Oh man, it gets even gayer when Castle sits down on the kneeling slave’s back using him as a couch, then lays back to rest against the other slave.
Castle wants a title match with Jay Lethal, to try to wrest the belt from Lethal’s waist. These queer antics are meant to anger (or perhaps to excite) Lethal, to motivate him to agree to the match. In a drawling, simpering voice, Castle questions the champ’s manhood. Of course a true Alpha Male like Lethal can’t just sit there accepting these insults from this nancy-boy.

Eventually Lethal takes the bait and attacks — tossing both slaves out of the ring and pounding knotholes in Castle’s head. The bell rings and we have a match, wrestling fans!
Castle ended up getting what he wants — a title bout. The fans sure got what they wanted too — more entertaining antics by this interesting new character.
After an initial flurry by Lethal, I am surprised to see Castle gain control and dominate for much of the match. Lethal willingly plays along, selling the creepy man’s moves and allowing himself to be controlled and beaten down.
I give Lethal credit for checking his ego and allowing this sissified character to shine at his expense. Lethal proves to be a great worker, staying down in a submissive position on the floor while Castle stands over him pointing his dick in Lethal’s general direction.
One of Castle’s favorite offensive moves is to pick up his opponent around the waist and throw him down. Several times in a row, Castle embraces Lethal and just beasts him down face-first onto the mat to stun him. This makes Castle appear so tough and dominant, and makes Lethal look like a helpless ragdoll.
Later Castle delivers this fantastic slow-motion German Suplex into a bridging Damn-He’s-Got-A-Big-Bulge pinfall attempt. Lethal is able to kick out.
Another wrestler in red trunks who is a friend of Jay Lethal (big tall Donovan Dijak) yanks Castle off the ring apron and bends him across his shoulders in a punishing Torture Rack.
He tosses Castle’s carcass back into the ring, but the damage is done. The beloved Castle is hurt and won’t be able to defend himself!
Poor Castle has been utterly mistreated, illegally attacked by a cheater behind the ref’s back, and then jacked by Lethal’s “RKO” style finisher — the “Lethal Injection.” (That is a sexy name for a wrestling move. What is meant by the term “injection?” What is being injected into where?)
We get the sense that Castle is being disciplined for his queer flamboyance earlier. For crossing the straight line, for veering into an alternative life-style with his two slaves, Castle must pay the price for non-Manliess. He is shown being hurt to send the message that the Alpha Male is the true master. Big, thick, beefy Jay Lethal is presented as the very picture of ideal masculinity.
Good job to Ring of Honor for presenting new gimmicks and faces all the time, rather than the same 8 dudes week after week. And I love how they are willing to put everyone’s Gaydar on red alert with these homo-erotic antics, and how they offer their most recent weekly show for free on their website. Wow, it sure is a great time to be a wrestling fan!
