One of my loyal readers from Japan recently sent me the following message about his new pro wrestling Blog called “He is Out“:
“Hi. My name is Tetsuya, and I’m Japanese. I often visit your site and enjoy it. I always look forward to it updated.
Actually, I’m writing this to ask you to consider about two things below.
1) I’d like to have your permission to link your site to mine. I think your site is great, so I’d like to let more people know about your site.
2) If you like my site, I’d like you to link my site to yours. This is first time for me to have a site and it is very simple. But I hope that people who have the same kind of interest enjoy it regardless of difference of language.
It must be boring comparing to yours and the sites that you have linked on your site, but if you find mine interesting, please consider linking it to yours.
I look forward to hearing from you.”
Of course I browsed over to Tetsuya’s blog right away and enjoyed what I saw. I didn’t find it “boring” what-so-ever. All of the images in today’s gallery are found on the “He is Out!” website with my usual comments added under each photo.
Tetsuya seems to focus on wrestlers being knocked out, sleepered out, punched out, or even Pile-Driven out.
It sure is nice to see that hot wrestling is recognized as hot wrestling no matter where you go in the world. The sight of a kneeling pretty-boy being repeatedly slugged until he’s out cold, for example, is just as appreciated in Japan as it is here in the USA. It’s a small world after all!
So needless to say, soon after viewing “He is Out!”, I promptly responded and told him: Yes, we should definitely link our sites to each other — and I’ve already inserted a link to “He is out!” over in my right-hand margin.
I also want to share a few hints about navigation on his Japanese language site. First, at the bottom right of each page, you will find a link to surf on to the next page, which looks something like this:
Second, after each posting, Tetsuya provides a link to the full YouTube video in case you want to see more of the action. (And for nearly all of the images he posted, I wanted to see more of the action…) The tiny link to the corresponding YouTube video resembles a small red television set or monitor– something like this: 
So let me say: “Welcome to the wrestling blogosphere!” to Tetsuya and great job so far on your website. PLEASE keep up the great work! I always appreciate finding new content created by regular Joe wrestling fans. The opportunity to see hot pro wrestling from a Japanese fan’s eyes will expand our wrestling-kink horizons, so I am glad you told us about your blog!
And in a follow-up e-mail, Tetsuya sent the following concern:
“So far not many people have visited my website. I did not expect many people visit there but I was hoping that people who have the same interest will enjoy my website. But the visitors don’t leave comments nor click like button. Actually I have had a uneasy feeling that the way of making my website is boring or my preference is so narrow that nobody understands it.”
Yes, I know how you feel, Tetsuya. It would be nice (and would encourage him to keep up the good work) if you would also give him some comments — English is fine — or click his “Like” buttons, which I think look like hands clapping:
