Manly Blog of JagoBC

I recently stumbled on a Blog featuring pro wrestling themed images created by a talented artist named Jago BC.  The site is called “The Manly Art of Jago BC” and it features images of pro wrestling matches (our kind of hot pro wrestling matches) created with “Poser” software.

Poser is a program that allows you to create and animate characters (including shirtless pro wrestlers) and place them in various positions, contortions, and painful holds.  I’ve never used it but I know Poser images when I see them.

JagoBC clearly “gets” the psychology of pro wrestling, and he incorporates many of the little touches that make us love pro wrestling in his artwork.  He likes his rasslers beefy, muscular, masculine and hairy, like the old-school brawlers from classic studio wrestling. And he dresses his athletes in revealing little trunks.

He includes plenty of dirty tactics, foreign objects, and vicious kicks, and other sexy scenes in his matches, the sort of imagery I’ve gushed about many times in this Blog.

In addition to his Poser art, JagoBC used the “WWE Smackdown vs. Raw” video game (which includes the ability to create custom wrestlers) to direct and record his own matches which he then posts on YouTube.

One video features a silver haired cowboy (who looks a lot like CNN’s Anderson Cooper) utterly crushing a hairy chested rassler named Jago (an avatar for the artist himself).  Jago often puts himself in the ring, usually in the “jobber” role.

So if you like looking at artwork that features sexy, brutal pro wrestling performed by studs in skimpy gear, be sure to offer this artist some support so he will hopefully create more of this.  Check out his Blog and YouTube Channel and maybe offer him some encouraging words.  He hasn’t created a huge amount of content yet, but I like what I see so far.
