Yesterday’s featured bout between Titus O’Neil and Dolph Ziggler reminded me of this old drawing I’ve had saved on my hard drive for years. It almost looks like the artist was inspired by watching big, bald Titus crushing pretty-boy Dolph when he drew this, but this drawing has actually been around much longer than there ever was a “Titus” or a “Dolph” getting us horny on a Friday night. I guess it just shows that certain iconic scenes, like the big black warrior wrapping up his weaker blond victim, are universally understood and universally enjoyed.
Below is some artwork I’ve collected over the years featuring more iconic images of one of the sexiest holds in any wrestler’s arsenal: the Body Scissor.
I did not write the little comment about the movie “Anaconda.” It is so perfect, I don’t even need to add a caption to this image — thanks to whoever wrote that, you saved me a step.
I pasted together body scissor sketches someone else drew several years ago and added color to create the Tag Team scenarios shown above and below. I’ve always been pretty proud of the results, with my finished product much more vibrant and exciting than the original black-and-white sketches. I really like seeing the matching tights on the men in control, and the casual conversation they’re having as they crush their opponents in tandem. Good job, self!
