On the July 3rd episode of WCWC, Caleb Konley opened the show in a stud-vs-stud match with rookie Adrian Matthews. This was a treat, I love when both wrestlers are attractive!
I think we need a term for when a Federation puts its two hottest specimens of male beauty in the ring together. Any ideas on what to call that? A Boner Bout?

The story being told is the never-ending battle between the Old Guard and the Young Upstart. We’ve all felt frustrated at work or in life by those veteran Know-it-Alls who want to control us, and/or intimidated by a Talented Young Hot-Shot trying to take our spot. Caleb was the prettiest guy in any wrestling ring — until Adrian Matthews came along…

Konley drops the pretty boy with a stiff knee to the face. This show of aggression implies that Konley is desperate, needing to get rough to stay on top.
Konley tells us the story of the experienced and perhaps over-the-hill veteran trying to hold only his former glory. I first blogged about him ten years ago in August 2007 when he still wore whitie-tighty underwear in the ring.
Now Adrien Matthews is the Pretty Young Thing, leaner, faster, and more potent than the fading violet.
“He is deceptively strong.”
One of the announcers puts Matthews over with discussion of his strength and beauty: “Adrian Matthews certainly an impressive physique. Just take a look at his legs…”
The other announcer: “You like his legs?!?” (Fuck yes I like his legs, and his sexy ass. Quit trying to Fag Shame me.)
Konley needed to cheat to beat this strong kid!
The final pinfall tells the story of the aging stud’s desperation, needing to pull the rookie’s trunks to pin him.
From a queer perspective, we see a sexual violation by the daddy, using his position of power to expose the younger man’s private region and take advantage of his vulernability.
Oh you poor dumb rookie — so cute when you’re angry, so easily tricked by all the older men. Just keep working out, obeying the rules, and losing every match with your ass on display — we love every minute of it.
When you’re a bit older and beefier, when you’re not so adorable and innocent, perhaps you can switch to a Dominant Alpha Male role and begin to bully the next generation of Cute Young Up-And-Comers who are trying to put you out to pasture.
Just watched this episode and I lost interest after the first match. Those two big round asses are the main eventers for me.
