Orange Crush

I love Tag Team wrestling.  And I love when the Wrestle-Porn video producers do Tag Team matches.  So I always buy and blog about their Tag Team videos to encourage them to give us more.  After all, we get four studs going at each other for the price of two.

Wrestler 4 Hire recently posted this rare Tag Team match featuring Austin Cooper and Ethan Andrews as Team Orange Trunks — the cute Baby-Faces just itching for a beating.  Check out Austin casually leaning one arm on his partner’s shoulder — I love it when Tag partners can’t keep their hands off each other.

Lane Hartley and Kelly King — the “Musclebrutes” — portray arrogant and powerful Heels with their manly beards, swole arms, and military-issue combat vests.  They coldly survey Team Orange like they’re deciding which limbs to break first.

Hartley and King are real pro wrestlers with years of in-ring match experience (albeit under different billing.)  I love it when the Underground companies book experienced pro talent — they really enhance the quality of the action and bring in the psychology behind the fight.

Austin and Ethan are talented wrestlers who have kicked the asses of many opponents in their Wrestle-Porn videos.  But they’re not working Pro Studs with massive physiques and tons of experience like Lane and Kelly.  They even wear amateur wrestling shoes instead of boots to emphasize that they don’t belong in the pro ring with the boot-clad Professional Brutes.

Team Orange is out-matched, out-muscled, and out-wrestled!

For the most part, the Musclebrutes dominate the Orange Team, for example executing this Double Suplex.  This makes sense, this is what we would expect, and I enjoyed it.

This is the sort of Pro vs. amateur mis-match that would’ve happened if, say, Crockett & Tubbs were tossed in the ring against the Road Warriors — the sort of fantasy squash that got me off in the mid-80’s.

The well-trained Brutes demonstrate some hot wrestling holds with Lane Hartley looking especially tough and manly with his thick black beard and powerful biceps.  Yum.

In future Tag Team matches, I’d like to see both teams in matching outfits.  A second pair of Stars & Stripes trunks for Kelly to wear, for example, would’ve enabled the Brutes to riff on the old Team USA gimmick.  Also, there is no need for them to begin the match wearing their vests (a nod perhaps to the WWE stable, The Shield).  Just have them shirtless from the start.

Ethan managed to apply this beautiful, long-held Leglock on big Lane Hartley, who sold it generously by pounding the mat and biting his knuckles.

With Lane looking suddenly vulnerable in his little red, white, and blue speedo, the power shifts to Team Orange.  But the Brutes get revenge soon with a matching pair of Figure 4 Leglocks:

The Brutes celebrate over the crushed Orange Team, proving that experienced Pro Wrestlers will defeat Fantasy Wrestle Boys every time.
