Octopus

Another form of Abdominal Stretch invented in the Orient is the dreaded Octopus, an Ab Stretch with the free leg draped over the victim's neck.

I like the shocked expression on this muscular Jap's face.  He can't believe his body has been bent into this impossible shape and he has no idea how to ever untangle himself..

It takes great flexibility for the attacker to apply this complex hold.  This dude's thick calf is locked under the victim's chin to sleeper him with the leg.  He grips his own boot for extra leverage on the victim's neck.

The young studs on the Independent circuit in the USA have also adopted this hold. They seem to love complex, punishing holds where their bodies are entangled around the victim's.

Thanks to his knowledge of punishing holds, the cocky kid with the soul patch on his chin has taken contol of this powerful muscle stud with the beard.  He calmly waits for a submission .

Here is a masked wrestler working over some smaller victim, bending him over to set him up for the Octopus.

OUCH!  Without lifting his left leg off the mat, he forces the kid's head down under his knee!  He obviously did not study Anatomy because the body is not designed to bend like that!

Here is a hot white dude rubbing his hairy leg across the face of the lean brother in the pink bikini.  The victim doesn't know what hurts worse:  being bent around like a pretzel, or having a hairy calf grinding your face like sandpaper.

Apparently this hold has been around since the classic days of wrestling.  The ref presses on the bearded stud's leg to increase the victim's agony, then asks the victim if he is ready to submit.

Johnny Saint, one of the hottest grapplers from classic British wrestling, prepares his victim for the Octopus.

You can tell a wrestler who really know what he's doing if he is able to lift his feet completely off the mat so the victim must support his entire body weight.  Saint grapevines his right leg around the victim's and throws his left leg over the dude's head, so he is completely suspended above the mat.

There are arms and legs everywhere in this seated variation of the Octopus!  Clearly the victim's body should not be torqued into this position, and it can't feel too good to have jeans grinding across his face.  To quote the victim: "OW OW OWOOWOWOW!"

Another young stud shows off his wrestling knowledge with the seated Octopus, locking his tall leather boot over the victim's neck.
