Lion Tamer

Chris Jericho invented a hot version of the Boston Crab called the Lion Tamer.  Instead of stepping over to sit on his back, Jericho holds him up and presses a knee between his shoulder blades.

Note how the victim's head and neck are corkscrewed into the mat as Jericho twists the spine to one side.  Needless to say, the victim will soon be slapping the mat once Jericho slaps this on.

When Jericho is in a sadistic mood, he kneels on the back of his victim's head to really bend that neck down.  This young lion is definitely being tamed by Jericho's painful hold!

Wow, great muscles on both wrestlers!  Jericho is setting up Chris Benoit for the Lion Tamer, but he needs to join his hands and press the knee into Benoit's spine.

In a different match, Jericho again destroys Benoit with the 'Tamer and shows that he is the true "Canadian Crippler."

Chris Benoit realized the deadly power of this hold, so he adapted it slightly and applied it to Kurt Angle.

Kurt Angle is forced to slap the mat in submission as Benoit kneels on the back of his neck, pressing his face into the dirty mat.

Next Kurt Angle was destroyed by the originator of this deadly hold, Chris Jericho.  Once again the Olympic Champion must tap out, showing his weakness and inferiority in the pro wrestling ring.

All the big Superstars have fallen victim, at one time or another, to this blond stud and his deadly hold.  Here he sets up HHH for the painful spinal twist.

In a different match, HHH is again forced to submit to the "Ayatollah of Rock and Rollah", Chris Jericho.

Jericho has called himself the "Man of 1,004 Holds" just to remind Malenko (who only knows 1,000 holds) that he is the better wrestler.  Here Malenko suffers in one of Jericho's extra 4 holds, the deadly Lion Tamer.

Again Malenko is set up for the Lion Tamer, his stocky body bending in the wrong direction.   Jericho, the man of 1,004 nick-names, was also called "Lion Heart" which must be why his favorite hold is called the "Lion Tamer."

When Jericho saw Ken Shamrock, "The World's Most Dangerous Man", walking shirtless in the parking lot, he decided to show Shamrock that he is even more dangerous.  He applies the Lion Tamer, pressing Shamrock's face into the dirty, cold concrete.

Shamrock is about to bust out of those tight jeans.  Jericho laughs at this "Ultimate Fighter" as he hears the poor guy slapping the cement and screaming in pain.  Now who is the World's Most Dangerous Man??

\\

This Japanese wrestler must be a fan of Jericho, as he applies a variation of the Lion Tamer on a hunk in black trunks.  He steps a foot on the back of his opponent's head rather than kneeling on his backbone.
