Scorpion Deathlock

One painful variation of the Boston Crab is the "Scorpion Deathlock" which Benoit is applying to The Rattlesnake, Steve Austin.  You know this hold is painful if it makes Austin cry like a bitch!

This kid in red tights is really pouring on the pressure as he squats down low.  The victim might as well submit, he has little hope of escaping.

"Cowboy" James Storm looks sexy putting away some dude in black pants.  Even if the criss-cross ankle lock doesn't cause a submission, you can still torture the dude's spine.

The Scorpion King, The Rock, howls as he forces a submission with his patented Scorpion Deathlock.

This brute tortures some shirtless kid long after the bell has rung.  His partner enters the ring to kick the poor kid in the face.

This suffering dude with the unusual striped beard is Teddy Hart, a relative of Bret Hart.  Uncle Bret will be disappointed to see his nephew suffering in the Sharpshooter!

This hold is also called The Sharpshooter, but I think "Scorpion Deathlock" is a much hotter name.  Plus, the wrestlers' bodies look a bit like a scorpion with its tail curved over its head, ready to strike.

The guy in the blue singlet reversed the hold on the dude in white tights.  He gets his revenge by leaning way back to really crank on the pressure.

This kid watches too much WWE!  He laughs as he slaps a very tight Sharpshooter on his uncle and forces a screaming submission in front of the whole family.

I'll bet the shirtless guy wearing the ski mask gets off on masked pro wrestlers.  He invited a buddy to wrestle in his basement, and the buddy finished him off with a painful Sharpshooter on the basement rug.

The master and maybe the inventor of the Scorpion Deathlock was Sting, who will now demonstrate how to apply the hold.

Step One is to pick up the victim's feet and step your right leg between his thighs.

Step Two is to cross his left ankle under his right knee and lock his right foot under your right arm.  Begin to flip him over on his belly using his legs for leverage.

Step Three:  Turn your body to face in the opposite direction to flip your opponent completely onto his chest.  He must roll over or his back will be twisted.   You will probably now hear him begging for mercy and calling you Sir or Master.

Finally, step over his body and slowly lower your body into a squatting position, pressing his ass down with your ass and pressing his right calf onto his left shin.  Take your time and gradually increase the pressure to avoid snapping his back.  Don't worry, he will be crying his submission soon enough.

If the opponent does not submit immediately, just continue lowering your weight slowly, pressing him in the wrong direction.

Here is the Scorpion Deathlock application one more time, this time demonstrated on Hulk Hogan.  Sting's right leg is inserted between his thighs, Hogan's left leg is locked under the right leg, which is under Sting's arm.  Hogan is forced to roll over as Sting twists around 180 degrees.

Sting has lowered slowly into the squating position, and the ref is warning him to be very gentle to avoid injuring the champion.

Hogan was cocky and refused to submit quickly enough, so Sting simply continued lowering his weight on Hogan's back.  That soon convinced him to slap the mat and scream for mercy.
