Superfly
(Classic Wrestling)

Wrestlers have been leaping off the ropes to flatten their opponents probably since they started enclosing the ring in ropes.  Here is a young stud preparing to splash down on some opponent as his partner in tights watches.

The Japanese fans stand and watch in awe as one of their heroes is about to be crushed under a ton of falling beef.

A concerned wrestler at ringside wants to rescue his helpless friend, but there is no way to interfere.  He must watch in frustration as the long-haired wild man squashes the fallen wrestler with a devastating splash.  This is terrible, somebody stop this caged brutality!

The masked Destroyer loved to jump off the ropes and splash down on his opponents.  He had enough beef to really crush the air out of other wrestlers.

Ernie Ladd called his splash the "flying cloud", using his big belly to demolish smaller men.  His partner and the ref watch closely as he finishes off the opponent with his big gut.

Jerry Lawler really hated the von Eric boys, and would pull no punches when he fought them.  Here he is sailing off the ropes with a cocked fist, even though the ref told him not to do this to poor, helpless Kerry.

The great Jimmy Snuka is taking out yet another victim with his amazing Superfly move.  He looked so hot in that skimpy tiger striped speedo.
For a little extra height, Snuka is now leaping off the shoulders of his masked partner.  This isn't fair, the partner can't be in the ring like this!

The hairy chested bald daddy rolls out of the way, letting the young hot shot belly-flop onto the mat.  For some reason, the splasher was always injured when he landed on the canvas instead of on the opponent's body.

The lazy ref isn't doing very much to prevent this big cheater from dropping his massive weight off the ropes.  Maybe the ref doesn't like the soft bellied jobber down on the mat, with the string hanging out of his trunks.  Come on, he can't do this!  It's not legal to climb the ropes!

This muscle man yanked on the top rope to "sling-shot" himself over the ring ropes.  He's about to crash land his rock solid body on his fallen opponent and crush the wind out of him.

Imagine the powerful crushing force this big slab of beef will deliver when he belly flops on his helpless victim!  Will the poor dude survive the rib smashing impact of the big stud's husky body?
