The Avenger looks great in that classic pro gear: wild mask, skimpy singlet, shiny boots.  His muscles flex as he cranks on the pressure.  Soon the victim stops struggling and gives up, standing still like a deer in the headlights, praying for the torture to stop but helpless to escape.

 
 
 
The masked man in all white gear is on his knees, begging for mercy from his vicious opponent. Those vintage wrestling outfits were too hot! He's being choked!!  The ref orders this brutal cheater to release the hold, but he ignores the ref and keeps on choking the masked hero in white.

  
Here is some fierce classic action. The meaty blond brawler is busted open, blood streaming down his face and onto his chest.  He punishes the victim's neck and face in revenge, but the fierce man refuses to surrender, clenching that soft belly in a hug.

 
 
I like how this jobber's partner outside the ropes claps for him, encouraging him to escape the painful standing headlock applied by the mean dude in long black tights.

 
 
The director of this Mexican wrestling film zooms in close, giving the viewers a feel for the heat and intensity of this fight.  The attacker presses his cheek against his victim's face for leverage.
Now they are cheek to cheek as the camera gets even closer to the intimate action.  Those intense looks on their faces are worth a few thousand words.

 
 
 
Hey, just what the hell is going on here!?!  He headlocked the poor guy against the ropes, now he's bashing his head over and over into the turnbuckle.  This is unfair, he's in the damn ropes!  The laughing cheater doesn't care, he just keeps slamming the helpless victim's skull into the buckles and rubbing his ear across the top rope.  This is disgusting, where is the ref!?!?

 
 
 
  
"How does that feel on your neck, ya little bitch?  Hey, are you staring at my crotch?!?  Here's what I do to horny little pretty boys like you!" 

The stud in control flexes his arms and jerks his interlocked fingers tighter.  "Submit NOW or I'll tear that pretty head right off your shoulders, ya pussy!"

 
 
This almost looks like a choke hold!  The ref better make sure the tatooed veteran isn't cheating against this young athletic boy next door.  Why does this tough old heel need to cheat to win? Can't he fight fair against the poor kid?

 
 
 
This fool decided to take it easy on the hairy, beefy masked man.  Now the idiot is paying the price for his compassion, as the powerful hooded wrestler tortures him with a grinding "vise-like" side headlock.

The standing headlock is such a sexy looking hold because the wrestler applying the hold stands up straight like a man, while the victim is forced to bow down or bend over in submission.
