A lot of the cheating bad guys apply the Figure 4 Leglock, then grab the ropes and pull up for added leverage. Raising your body adds devastating  pressure to the victim's knee.  In this classic image, the ref just caught this vicious cheater yanking on the ropes, so he is ordering the tough man to release the hold.  The cruel bastard is sure taking his time!

 
  

	The ref notices that this blond bully is against the ropes.  He orders the heel to break the hold because his body is outside the ring.
	The victim is still in agony, grabbing his head. The ref repeats his order to break the hold, but the bad guy has no regard for the rules. He continues to apply knee snapping pressure.
	Finally the ref convinces this brutal heel to unlock his it.  As he untangles his pink boots, he yanks the top rope for a little extra torture on the leg of the baby face.

 
 
 

	Ric Flair loved jerking the ropes while applying his patented Figure 4.  Here, young Barry Windham begs the ref to look over at the Nature Boy's illegal tactics before his leg is injured, but the ref is distracted by young Windham's suffering.
	Damn, this ref must be in cahoots with Flair!  I wonder how the champ convinced him to ignore this blatant cheating so he could torture the rookie.  This is so unfair, someone should investigate this blind ref!

 
 

Buddy Landell, the sexy blond heel grabbing the top rope, was always extremely ruthless to his victims.  He lifts his body using the rope for leverage, which puts unbearable pressure on the opponent's knee.  As the ref watches the victim closely for a submission, Landell blatantly cheats and gets away with it!

  

Here is a nice close up of Landell's tight Figure 4.  Landell's shiny red boots are locked in tight, the victim's boot is planted in his groin.  He applies intense downward pressure, really working on the victim's locked knee.

This helpless pretty-boy can't stand this torture.  He squeezes his eyes shut and groans in agony.  If the horny ref wasn't so close to him, his face just inches away from the suffering stud, he might see that Landell is illegally pulling and yanking the ropes.  Come on ref, wake up!

 

Now where did the stupid ref go, as this blantant cheating continues?!  Landell is twisted to one side, his body completely lifted off the mat as he repeatedly yanks on the top rope for leverage!  Why is the sadistic heel trying to trash this poor guy's knee with these brutal tactics??
