Turnbuckle Spike
 


The ring ropes are connected to the posts by a steel turnbuckle with very little padding on it. Sometimes dirty wrestlers use the hard corner pads as a weapon. Chick Donovan grips his young opponent's mop of hair and slams his head into the buckle.  The poor kid is clearly dazed after having his bell rung.

Now the masked grappler rams Scott Casey's face into the turnbuckle, leaving the beefy cowboy dizzy and hurting, his face resting against the corner pads.
Check out young Jerry Lawler, hairy-chested in his bright white tights.  He is dreading the pain he is about to feel, because he knows the bald brute is about to spike his face against the top turnbuckle!
This beefy heel has a field day with the wrestler out on the ring apron.  He smashes the dude's face into the corners not once, not twice, but three times.  The guy in the singlet will have a headache for a week!

Nice shot of young Brett Barnes, a hot new star in the independent federations.  He looks worried as his vicious opponent prepares to spike his head like a football.

Later, Brett gets revenge on these tag team bullies.  He spikes one opponent's face right into the other opponent's crotch. That looks painful AND humiliating!
Whoa, what a nice chest on this goateed muscle stud, made helpless and dizzy by his tough opponent!  The opponent flexes his bicep, hoping to knock the big guy silly with a jarring spike into the buckles.
I'm not sure if these blonds are preparing to spike Tommy Rogers in the corner, or whip his hard body over the top rope. Either way, this is an illegal double team, and the ref should stop the cheaters!
Another pair of cocky blonds are double teaming their hot young boy toy.  One cheater rests his boot on the top rope so the other cheater can ram the kid's face into the sole of his boot rather than into the corner buckles.



Instead of jamming Brisco's head into the buckles, Roberts decides to use his knee.  He cocks one leg over the middle rope, giving Terry Gordy a nice hard target to spike Brisco's face against.

The sexy Iron Sheik is proud of his controversial boots.  He points at the sharp spike sticking out of the toe. Everyone knows he can really do some damage with those, but the officials can't force him to wear normal wrestling boots because he says the curled toes are part of his culture.

The Iron Sheik places his foot on the top turnbuckle and spikes this young man's face into that pointed toe.  OUCH!  The poor kid is blinded by that sharp toe!  Why is this savage allowed to wear those dangerous pointed boots?!
Harley Race looks angry as he runs this helpless Japanese guy face-first into the corner.  I think the fat American cowboy really wants to injure the worried asian stud.


This smooth-chested young wrestler doesn't stand a chance against a mean, hairy brute like Big John Studd, who grips the kid's sweaty mane of hair to spike him into the corner.  Why did this young athlete agree to climb in the ring with the cruel, violent veteran??



Sweat glistens on the British Bulldog's muscular body as the massive Warlord gets ready to crack his skull on the top turnbuckle.  

CRACK!  The Bulldog cringes as his temple meets the turnbuckle pad, courtesy of the huge punishing brute behind him.

The fat bully wants everyone to know, especially the cute jobber in white trunks, that this is HIS wrestling ring.  After being thrown to the cold cement floor, the humiliated kid digs his white briefs out of his ass.  When he tries to climb back into the ring, the brute spikes his cute face against the steel post!  Come on, give this young man a chance!!
