Name These Two
 Surfboard Holds

Below are two great Surfboard variations, but I'm not sure what they're called.  If they don't have names already, let's try naming them ourselves.

Email me your ideas for possible names for these holds.  (manof1000holds@hotmail.com), and we will vote on the best 2 names next week. Thanks!

Unknown Hold #1

The first hold involves sitting on the victim's back like you are facing the wrong way on a horse. Grapevine your feet around his inner thighs to hold on, pull up his wrists, and enjoy the ride.

Could this be called the "Pony Ride" or "Reverse Bronco" hold?

Here is a one-armed variation of this un-named hold.  The man in the fancy striped trunks sits up high on the victim's neck, pressing his weight down on the back of his head.  The victim could escape by bucking the other man off, but he might lose his arm in the process.

This appears to be the same wrestler, with the wild hair and flamboyant striped trunks, applying this unusual Surfboard to yet another helpless victim.

I guess "Stacked Surfboard" or "Riding Surfboard" are possible names for this hold.

This looks like the same wrestler again, in those striped trunks, now riding a man in white. He must get off on this domination hold.

Since the victim's arms are butterflied, how about "Reverse Butterfly", "Mounted Butterfly", or "Iron Butterfly" for possible names.

Check out this humiliated wrestler in the one-strap singlet, screaming for mercy from the wrestler who is seated comfortably on the back of his head.

This caption calls the hold a "mounted reverse arm lever" but I'll bet we can come up with a hotter name than that.

Unknown Hold #2

The second un-named Surfboard variation involves trapping his feet inside your arms or armpits, grabbing both his wrists, and rocking him back until his chest lifts off the mat.  It's like a "Rocking Surfboard" or "Rock and Roll Surfboard."

Whatever we call this hot move, it clearly is effective, as this hairy-chested stud lets out a scream of agony, begging the other dude not to rip his arms out of the sockets!

You can also hook your feet under his shoulders for extra leverage when rocking him up off the mat.  I was thinking of calling this hot move the "Rocking Horse" or "Rocking Chair," but I think there are holds with those names already, so let me know what would be a good name for this move.

The goateed hunk is calmly punishing this helpless lad.  The poor kid is straining in agony as he is stretched to the breaking point.

Here is a red-haired stud from Ring of Honor suffering in this unknown hold.  It almost looks like the attacker is riding a sled, so maybe "Sled Ride" or "Toboggan" are cool names for this hold?

This wrestler really shows off the rocking potential of this hold.  He rolls all the way onto his back several times, hoisting his boy toy to a kneeling position, then slams him down to the mat face-first.  Would "See-Saw" be too goofy of a name for this rocking hold?

Here is a stud in silver shorts being bent and broken in the [Insert Name of Hold Here].

Can he escape from the dreaded [Insert Name of Hold Here]?

The ref rushes over to clap his hands as the dude is rocked repeatedly into a back snapping position.

Well, what names do you like for these two rare holds?  Let me know your ideas and I'll set up a poll next week so everyone can vote.

Named after a heavy metal band from the 70's, Iron Butterfly is a great name for this hot hold, since the victim's arms are "butterflied" behind his back.  Also, in gymnastics, there is a move called the "Iron Cross" where the gymnast supports his weight on the rings with his arms in the same position as the man in the Iron Butterfly.

In this hot position, the seated wrestler appears to be coasting downhill on a Toboggan. As they rock back and forth, you can almost picture them bouncing and rolling down the hill.  Plus, the victim's face and chest are bent up off the mat into a curved shape, very similar to the front of a Toboggan.
Great choices for these 2 holds, thanks to everyone who voted.  Be sure to apply these hot holds to your wrestling buddies. When they ask what those holds were called, spread the word: the Iron Butterfly and the Toboggan!
