Lifting Bearhug

 
 
 
 
To show off superior strength and power, the bearhugger often lifts his opponent up in his arms, as the hunk in baby blue is doing to the jobber in white.  This adds leverage to the squeeze and prevents the other man from escaping. 

 
Billy Graham really knew how to suffer, making it appear that he is in the most incredible agony of his life.  He raises one arm in a pose of begging for mercy, and groans in pain as two different opponents squeeze him.  Great bugling biceps on the Superstar!

 
  
This poor guy looks like he is drowning and reaching for a life line.  Check out the awesome crushing strength in the big beast who is applying this bearhug.  He demonstrates his power by easily liting the other wrestler up in his arms like a child.

 
 
Tommy Montana, a handsome young jobber boy from the 1980's, cringes in pain as he is scooped up in a stronger man's arms.
As the squeezing continues on this jobber, the ref checks if he wants to submit.  The brave young lad shakes his finger that he refuses to surrender, even though he has no air left to speak.
This poor, helpless weakling continues to feel the crushing power from the stronger man.  Why doesn't he just submit and avoid any further abuse?

 
 
 
Wow, there is no shortage of power in this great bearhug picture!  Ivan Putski is the massive strongman in the black speedo with the string hanging out.  He uses all his strength to crush the beefy victim in the striped trunks.

 
 
It's not often that you see the "Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit so easily over-powered.  Mike Enos picks him up in a tight embrace as if they are lovers.  Benoit wraps his big arms around the other wrestler's neck.

 
 
Ric Flair is another tough dude who wasn't often out-muscled like this.  The ref begs the Nature Boy to submit before his ribs are crushed.

 
  
This stud got excited during swim practice, watching the other hunk strutting around in that tight blue speedo.  After practice, he challenged the dude to a wrestling match in the locker room, and it didn't take long until the bearhugging started.

 
Check out Tommy Rich, resting his head on Koloff's shoulder like a sleeping baby.  He ought to be ashamed of himself, being so submissive in another man's embrace!  I'm glad that the villains have some dirty 2 on 1 punsihment planned for this jobber, as soon as they get him back in their corner.

 
 
That is an incredible physique on the body builder in the red trunks! Even his opponent sneaks a peek at those rippling abs as the hunk leans back to lessen the pain of the bearhug.

 
  
The white guy in the bikini trunks waves his arms as the more powerful black man lifts him in a tight bearhug.
The victim is growing weak as the air is crushed out of his lungs by that tight hug.  He wraps his legs around the other man's thighs like a young lad being carried by his daddy.  Check out that lady's funky eye glasses in the front row!

 
  
As the black dude shows off his strength by hugging the white guy even closer, the victim grows limp and listless in his embrace.  The ref has mercy on the poor guy and calls for the bell.
The winner drops his ragdoll opponent on the mat like a sack of garbage.  I wonder if any of the fans at ringside back in those days were racist, and couldn't stand seeing a white guy completely overpowered and destroyed by a stronger black man, lieing helpless at the victorious black guy's feet.
