Hurts So Good

Without a doubt, the most important pose in Pro Wrestling is the pose of suffering.  This poor guy cringes as if his arm is being ripped out of the socket!

Bob Backlund was an expert at appearing to be in the worst pain of his life whenever his opponents hurt him.  His popularity was more related to his suffering than his wrestling skill!

Here is Backlund once again rolling around on the dirty floor, groaning in pain while all the wrestling fans out in TV land focus on those tight trunks.  He spends most of his matches flat on his back!
To really give the fans a treat, the villain wraps a belt around poor Backlund's throat and proceeds to choke him.  Backlund kicks his legs wildly and gasps for air, but does little to pull that belt off his neck.

The camera zooms in to give the fans a nice view of Backlund dazed and beaten on the floor.  This is really why fans tune in to watch Wrestling -- to see the pretty boys in agony.

Another sexy boy in skimpy trunks is dumped out of the ring.  He spreads his legs and gives the fans a nice long look at his body in a pose of helpless suffering.  Give this kid a raise, he earned it with that pose!

Here is a rare view looking down on the ring, as the wrestlers role around in pain after a risky move.  You can see the photographers at ringside trying to snap as many pictures as possible of the "Money Shot", the expression of hot pain.
As a rookie, Bret Hart paid his dues by being the "jobber", which is the helpless victim who rolled around whimpering on the mat, clutching his hair as he twisted his face into expressions of erotic suffering.

How many of you remember "Chaz", the lean kid from Global Wrestling who wrestled in skimpy little briefs?  He always gave the fans some nice expressions of pure agony like this one.  Admit it, you enjoy seeing pretty boys suffering in their underwear!

Why do the fans seem to like watching these cute dudes in pain?  Wrestling fans must have a sadistic streak where they gain pleasure from watching a hot dude moaning and begging for mercy from a relentless opponent. We haven't gotten any less bloodthirsty than the ancient Romans and their gladiator shows.

They must train these rookies to suffer as if they're having an intense orgasm.  Kenny Kendall takes a boot to the lower back which apparently caused him to bust a nut in his trunks.  "OOHHHHHH!"
Is this a Pro Wrestling jobber suffering in the center of the ring, or a porn star pleasuring himself, about to reach the point of no return?

Lance Storm is dazed and beaten on the mat, so his beefy opponent kneels with his crotch in Lance's face.  The cruel bastard's partner watches this sadistic scene from the far corner.

As usual, Jimmy Powers is tossed from the ring where he can display his ripped body on the floor and groan in agony.  He shows the horny fans how he would look stretched out on a bed, writhing and moaning at the point of climax.

Now the jobber twists around in pain, testing the limits of that tight red bikini.  Good jobbers know how to place their legs in just the right position to demonstrate the pain and pleasure of their agony.
Now Paul Roma cringes after taking a shot to the eye.  The fans never seem to grow tired of watching a handsome muscle man take a painful beating.

Now Roma lays back and begins to whimper, acting out the scene that happened in his hotel room last Saturday night.

"OOOFFFF!!"  Of course, no gallery of suffering would be complete without images of the great Tom Zenk, one of the most talented actors of all time.  Here Zenk clutches his balls and cringes for the camera to show the fans how badly he is hurt.

Zenk gasps in pain as the victor plants a boot on his chest. The position of a jobber's legs, sprawled out and kicking around in those tall boots, can be hotter than the wildest porno ever made.
Evan Karagias was another talented jobber who knew how to position his hard body to communicate the intensity of his suffering.  Here he clenches his teeth as if he has never felt so much pain in his life.

"OW OW OW, IT HURTS!!"   Is poor Evan being zapped in the balls with a cattle prod?  What else could cause this extreme level of pure agony?  Maybe he is over-acting just a bit.

They say "sex sells", but in Pro Wrestling, "suffering sells".  This cutie earns his pay by crying like a bitch as his throat is pressed into the ropes.

If an athlete is hurt this badly, that he can't even rise to his feet to defend himself, shouldn't they call for medical attention??  But in Pro Wrestling, the refs allow these injured lads to continue battling, even though the pain has rendered them helpless.
Why do these jobbers keep getting in the ring week after week, to suffer these humiliating and painful beatings?? Maybe they are into masochism, or maybe they earn a nice paycheck for their public beatings.

This jobber sends a mixed message as he leans in the corner to catch his breath.  He raises his hand to say "Please, no more!" but at the same time, he spreads his arms and legs wide open, inviting the opponent to continue working on his body (and his crotch).

Is Nigel McGuinness in pain here, or is he straining to hit the high notes in "God Save The Queen" ?   Either way, a cocky, muscular dude like him always looks great with an intense expression on his face.

"AHHH!!  MY BACK!!"  Poor Spanky cringes in pain as he crashes into the turnbuckles.  A good jobber knows how to appear shocked by the pain he is feeling, like he has no idea why life is so dreadful, and he is overwhelmed by his opponent's brutality.

This kid has suffered a long, painful ass-whipping but his daddy isn't finished yet.  He snatches the dazed jobber by the hair to drag him back to the center of the ring for more abuse.  The fans are getting their money's worth tonight!

Shane Douglas is a beefy blond who knows how to suffer.  Here he holds his injured wrist as blood, sweat, and tears run down his face and into his mouth.  Why oh why must men suffer this level of torture and humiliation??

Now he rolls around on the mat for us, twitching like a fish out of water.  He seems to enjoy grinding and humping in his tight speedo, maybe he gets off on pain.

Almost every week now, John Cena suffers a near-fatal beating for the WWE fans to enjoy. In this dramatic photo, he howls in pain at Kurt Angle's feet as Angle roars like a hungy lion about to devour it's kill.

This cute kid is beaten and helpless, his white speedo pressed against the mat.  So is it really necessary to further degrade him by placing a boot on his neck?  Can't we all just get long??

Here is a handsome stud, whipped and beaten at his Master's feet.  Clearly this hot dude can't take much more abuse, but I don't think the Master has finished kicking him with those baby blue boots yet.  The excited fans sure aren't bored with this domination yet!

Captain America twists around clutching the back of his head.  He has the type of body that is just begging to be attacked and hurt.

Many things have changed in Pro Wrestling over the past 10 years, but one thing remains constant:  the cute muscle-boys still take their beatings and clutch their hard bodies in pain while cringing and gasping.  That seems to be the most important ingredient in a hot wrestling match.

Austin Aries reacts to a vicious kick to his lower back.  Whenever it's "shirts against skins", the bare-chested dude always seems to be the victim who suffers the worst pain.  Maybe wearing full clothing gives a man the confidence to win the match.

The refs are very concerned about this young man's injury.  They lean over him to protect him from further torture as he rolls around clutching his nuts.

Matt Stryker must be suffering in some kind of Leg Lock because he is clutching that bottom rope like a drowning man who just grabbed a life-line.

For some reason, a pose of suffering is much hotter when performed in Pro wrestling gear. A skimpy satin speedo and laced-up leather boots make the victim look like a beaten gladiator or something.  This dude would not look half this sexy if he was rolling around in khaki pants, Hush Puppies, and a football jersey for example.
Tyler Black has just thrown Josh Abercrombie through a table in an amazing Suplex off the top ropes.  Now their broken bodies are sprawled out on the arena floor.  Now both men gasp for air, hoping the fans got their money's worth.

They look like two exhausted lovers sleeping in on a Sunday morning.  Josh looks up at Tyler to see whether the lean hottie is really OK.  Sometimes the suffering looks almost too real.

Davey Richards is one of the hottest new talents to burst onto the scene in years.  His popularity is partly due to his hot body, fancy trunks, and smoldering good looks, but his real talent is appearing to be in pain.

Now he clutches his leg as if he just stepped on a land mine.  I guess if my job caused me this much grief, I'd go apply for something easier, like training sharks or fighting forest fires or something.
