Gallery 539 Catching Butterflies The "Butterfly" is a painful headlock that the studs in Independent Wrestling love to apply.  With both the victim's arms entangled and his head bent painfully under the arm pit, he has no chance of escape. Here is a blonde brother turning his white opponent into a Butterfly, the white dude's arms bent at an awkward angle. The tough brother orders him to submit or his neck will be broken. Now a strong Asian grappler uses a one-armed variation of the Butterfly on his suffering opponent.  The dude in control looks like he could calmly knee in this position all day long until the victim decides to submit to him. This victim seems to have passed out, with his arms hanging limp at his sides.  There are two refs working this match, yet neither one realizes he is in danger and the match should be stopped. This cocky young dude defeats a much larger opponent with his spine-punishing Butterfly.  The skinny kid looks so arrogant, like he never had any doubt he could out-wrestle the larger man. Now the lean young stud knees in victory, insisting that the fans respect him by showering him with cheers.  Someone needs to teach this talented hunk some respect. This ref wastes no time asking the victim if he is ready to submit to the tatooed dude's Butterfly.  The ref does not want to see the poor victim's shoulders wrenched out of their sockets. Another ref leans in for a close look at his hold, as the shirtless guy traps his victim's neck and throat under his arm pit. This ref is ordering the wrestler in tights to release his victim's head before he rips it off.  The attacker combines his Butterfly hold with a nice Body Scissor. Wow, here is a painful variation where the victim is lifted off the mat.  Now gravity and his own body weight are punishing his arms and neck in this painful position. This masked man crouches in his opponent's lap as he slaps on a painful Butterfly.  The cute victim scowls in pain as his vicious opponent slowly increases the pressure inch by inch. The helpless victim isn't going any where, so the masked man takes some time to trash talk and flirt with the angry crowd for a while. Here is another masked man, sitting crotch-to-crotch with his opponent as he applies the dreaded Butterfly.  He slowly rocks back and forth to punish the victim's shoulders and neck. Why do so many masked men seem to enjoy applying this painful hold?  This wrestler has passed out in the freak's choking embrace, his body limp and helpless as the attacker continues to wrench his neck. Did this singlet wrestler's head get ripped off, or is it locked under the attacker's arm so we can't really see it??
