Boston Crab Variations

A fan sent me a nice donation
and requested more Boston Crab pictures. You keep donations like that
coming, and I'll give you all the Boston Crabs you could ever want!
Dean Malenko was a stud as
well as the Man of 1,000 Holds. Here he is giving the fans a nice view
of Alex Wright's blue trunks with this painful Single Leg Crab.
Batista uses a Single Leg
Crab on Chris Benoit. He also plants a knee on the victim's neck for
some added punishment. Even if you hate the WWE, you gotta love the
Animal Batista!
I forgot this wrestler's name,
but I love his kneeling Boston Crab variation, all his weight on the victim's
neck. That's so brutal, check out the cute victim, Jimmy Rave, about
ready to cry.
The kneeling stud breaks another
victim in two pieces thanks to his deadly Kneeling Crab. Judging from
those sexy trunks and that lean body, I think the victim is Sexxxy Eddie.
You can see much more of him in Gallery
448.
Whoa, take a gander at Brett
Barnes, looking all hard and ripped in his tight blue speedo. He even
wrote "Muscle" on his trunks in case you weren't sure what was in them. That's
pretty cocky -- I'd say he's just begging for a Boston Crab.
Sure enough, Brett's opponent
rolls him into a standing variation of the Boston Crab, even stepping on
his face as the ref watches. (Nice body.)
That's got to be very humiliating
for a stud like Brett Barnes, to be helpless on the mat as another man wipes
his shoe on your face!!
Wow, I knew Matt Sydal was
in shape, but I never knew he was that ripped! The veins pop out on
his arms like the Incredible Hulk as he spreads his legs and cranks on the
Boston Crab pressure.
This grappler gains extra
leverage by holding the victim's thighs instead of his shins. I'd say
the big boy in the blue speedo is enjoying this Boston Crab variation!
This
rookie probably thought those white shorts would conceal his body. Instead,
everything is on display for the fans as his beefy opponent stretches out
his bulging body in the dreaded Texas Cloverleaf variation.
Here is hunky Chad Collyer
using the Texas Cloverleaf variation on Nigel McGuinness. Collyer was
trained by the great Dean Malenko, who loved hurting guys in this hold.
This guy slaps on the Texas
Cloverleaf as his two bald buddies strike some kind of cocky gang pose. These
two brutes are preventing anyone from rescuing the helpless guy in the white
gear.
Poor barefoot Kevin is helpless
in some cruel Jap's Boston Crab. Brother Kerry rushes to his rescue,
which happened all the time when Kevin and Kerry tagged up.
Here is a cool Boston Crab
sketch by some awesome artist. He really captured the intensity of
this hold. Damn, I wish I could draw like that!
Probably my favorite wrestling
cartoonist is the great Bazotter. He really knows how to show masculine
real-men in intense, exciting struggles. You can see more of his masterpieces
at his Yahoo
Group.
Here is another drawing by
Bazotter featuring a hot Boston Crab variation. The dude applying this
hold seems to really enjoy his dominant position.
In case you aren't sure how
to apply this devastating hold and you want to try it on your wrestling buddies,
the folks at How Stuff Works offer this step by step explanation.
DAMN! Either this victim
is very flexible, or his cruel attacker is bending him to the breaking point!
He can almost kick himself in the back of the head!
Here is Sexxxy Eddie again,
locked in yet another Boston Crab. This time he is draped over the
corner turnbuckles as his opponent Crabs him in the ropes. OUCH!
Poor Eddie howls in pain until
you can see his tongue piercing. His opponent should NOT be allowed
to use the corner buckles like this!
This
stud Tajiri always applied a Boston Crab in the ropes, which they called
a Tarantula. That is such a sweet hold! You can see more of this
hot Crab variation in Gallery 243
and 504.
Yet another cheater uses the
ring ropes to add extra pain and punishment to this deadly hold. Check
out the red pants on this stud, in agony with his leg locked over the top
rope.
How would you describe this
interesting Boston Crab variation in the ropes?? These young lions
are getting out of control looking for creative ways to snap the opponent's
spine.
I think I've seen everything
now! This big stud uses the wall instead of the floor for leverage
as he bends his victim's body in the wrong direction.
The Mexican fans love to see
Boston Crabs. Santo looks so good putting this punk's whitie tighties
on display, that they featured him on the cover.
Here is a rough old-school
scene from the wild world of Lucha Libre! It looks like the ref is trying
to pull off the dirty cheater who refuses to release the deadly Crab.
Another great image from the
Golden Age of Mexican wrestling. The caption says something like:
"Don't slow the pace and "The Great Venom" continues to fell
his rivals. Anibal, Fantasma, and Hamada will be tough."
Probably the hottest Mexican
Wrestler of all time was Hector Garza. Here he is kissing the mat,
suffering in some big brute's painful Crab.
Another big bad killer tries
to injure poor Hector. The victim slaps the mat and kicks his red boots
around, demonstrating the agony of this most painful hold.
Hector gets the last laugh,
flexing his muscles as he reverses the Boston Crab. Damn, I wish this
stud still wrestled in the USA somewhere...
One of the greatest young
talents on the Indy scene is Roderick Strong. He calls his kneeling
Boston Crab variation the "Stronghold" and the fans call him the "Messiah
of the Backbreaker."
If you've never seen Roderick
in action, be sure to check out some Ring of Honor videos, he's awesome.
Here he makes C.M. Punk suffer, which C.M. Punk does so well, with
a standing Boston Crab.
Roddy plants a knee in Punk's
lower back and kneels down into the "Stronghold", trying to break Punk in
two pieces.
Looking like he's posessed
by the devil, Punk is able to escape and scramble for the ropes. Oh
well, this will just give Roderick a chance to punish his back some more.
Wow, what would you call this
Boston Crab variation? I don't know, but it's sure a cool hold. I
need to try that on someone and ask him if it hurts...
This built stud refuses to
submit to the Boston Crab. His opponent will just have to find a way
to make it more painful.
Sure enough, some other thug
gets in the ring and applies a Camel Clutch. They stretch the hotter
guy to the breaking point with the dreaded Boston Camel (one of my favorites!)
Finally
the cheaters release their deadly hold, and the gorgeous victim lies beaten
and helpless on the mat. The expression on his cute face shows the
fans how agonizing this hold really is. Clearly the Boston Crab is
one of the most devastating and frightening holds in wrestling!
