Team Beatings

Some Tag Teams can't win unless they cheat.  Some could easily win, but they cheat anyway because they get off on Double Teaming.

The officials should get more serious about enforcing the rules and preventing this dirty cheating.  But the fans seem to enjoy watching brutal scenes like this, so the refs look the other way.
The rules of Pro Wrestling actually encourage a Tag Team to work together to punish their opponent!  After tagging out, a wrestler has 5 seconds to stay in the ring and punch or kick the poor victim.

Luckily, the good wrestlers won't break the rules, no matter how cruel or violent their opponents behave.  They endure endless dirty tactics and two-against-one action, yet refuse to fight dirty themselves.

Yet the industry continues to promote the nasty Tag Teams and give them high rankings.  Shouldn't they discourage brutal hair-pulling, Double-Teaming, and cheating by refusing to show these violent images in the magazines and websites?

Some of the most vicious Tag Teams, who often wrestle in black gear, seem to find sadistic pleasure -- almost an erotic experience -- in the cruelty and punishment they inflict.  These teams are the most feared in the Wrestling world.

Some sadistic wrestlers go into a frenzy at the sight of blood, repeatedly punching and kicking the bleeding opponent without mercy.  When double-teaming is involved, the two partners seem to feed off each other's aggression and violent energy, spurring each other on to greater brutality.
And it's not always easy to spot the vicious Tag Teams by their wrestling gear!  Sometimes the pretty-boys in the pure white or shiny gold speedos will also employ ruthless two-on-one nastiness.

It's as if an evil Tag Teams considers the opponent's body their personal possession, a toy they can play with for their pleasure.

They'll toss the helpless victim back-and-forth between them, taking turns thinking of new ways to make the helpless man suffer.  Sometimes it's more than the fans can handle.

And dirty cheating has not decreased in the modern age of Wrestling.  In fact, Tag Team rassling has grown more violent as the lean young jocks invent more dramatic, and more painful, ways to bust up an opponent's body.

I guess it's up to the fans to decide if they want a more kinder, gentler Pro Wrestling, or if they prefer scenes of Double-Teaming, violence, and brutality.  As long as fans support this vicious style of wrestling, these tactics will continue.
For some reason, there seems to be no shortage of jobbers, willing to climb in the ring with these cruel, sadistic Tag Teams, knowing they will suffer some intense physical and mental domination.

Are these jobbers just desparate to pay the rent and hopefully make a name for themselves in the wrestling business?  Or do they actually look forward to the public humiliation and vicious pain they will suffer at the hands of their ruthless opponents?

And if two-against-one isn't sadistic enough, some teams actually bring in a third wrestler to Triple Team the competition.  It's surprising how proud and cocky the wrestlers look after winning a match three-against-one!

Since the fans seem to get off on the violence in the ring, the ultimate Pro Wrestling experience would be to take the punishment out to the crowd, allowing the eager fans to participate.

If a wrestler were held captive by his opponent and delivered to the fans for abuse, what would the sadistic fans do to him?  What kinds of cruel tactics would they employ, and would the fans enjoy hurting the helpless wrestler?

Fortunately for the wrestlers, most matches stay in the ring where it's safe.  The fans are likely to cause some serious humiliation on the helpless wrestler, especially if all their buddies are watching, aroused by the scene.
