The Ice-Man Cometh

Let's check out the great Dean Malenko, who was known as "The Ice Man" due to his no-nonsense style.  This stocky stud knew thousands of ways to destroy other men, so he was also known as the "Man of 1,000 Holds."

Malenko's opponent is another talented grappler, the late Eddy Guerrero.  Check out that arrogance and quiet macho confidence on Eddy's face, the reason he was so loved and hated by the fans.
Two of the most confident, manly hunks in wrestling are preparing to do battle -- Malenko and Guerrero.  They slowly jockey for position, knowing that this contest will be a marathon, not a sprint.

Malenko was such a confident, handsome stud, Guerrero must feel lucky to be pressed against him chest to chest.  Eddie kicks out Malenko's knee and drops him to the mat.

Eddie shows the fans that Mexicans do know how to surf.  He ties up Dean's legs, then pulls on his arms to rock him into a Kneeling Surfboard.  Malenko's stocky body is stretched out for the fans to enjoy.

Malenko is also known as the "Man of 1,000 Holds," but tonite he's taking a wrestling lesson from Guerrero.  The macho Mexican  knows how to keep a hold on long enough for the fans to get a good look, and Malenko knows how to sell the pain.
Eddie releases his hold, but quickly follows up with a traditional Knee-In-The-Back Surfboard.  Again the camera zooms in for plenty of great shots of Dean Malenko in pain.

Oh no, get up Dean!  Before the "Man of 1,000 Holds" can recover, Guerrero climbs the ropes and delivers his deadly Frog Splash, using Dean's beefy frame as a crash-pad.  Luckily Dean is able to kick out.

Eddie shows respect for his ancestors, now applying the "Gory Guerrero Special," a back-to-back torture rack in the center of the ring.  He's just showing off now!  Come on Dean, don't let him humiliate you like this!

Finally, the "Ice-Man" shows us how he earned that title.  He delivers a Suplex off the ring apron, carelessly dropping his opponent onto the floor where he injures his ankle.
Malenko power-slams Eddie flat on his back and applies a cocky Crotch-to-Face pin.  He picks the beaten man up on the count of two so he can continue to destroy him with his "1,000 Holds."

Dean is taking his time now, savoring the domination.  He slowly peels Eddie off the mat by the hair, then Power-Bomb's him onto his back and neck.

That's all Eddie could handle.  Dean rolls him up in a tidy package, pressing his face between Eddie's thighs, and the ref counts to three.  Your winner -- The "Ice-Man" Dean Malenko!

Dean Malenko has that calm assurance in his eyes, just oozing machismo, like he knows he can waste pretty much any man he wants.  That cold-blooded self-confidence is actually pretty sexy, even if he wasn't the most out-spoken or flamboyant wrestler.

The Ice-Man's next victim -- I mean opponent -- is that impossibly cute young German lad, Alex Wright.  You can see that Alex loves to show off his fancy dance moves -- or I should say "dance move" because he really only had one.
The fans cheer when Alex peels off his leather jacket to reveal his shredded body, but I'm sure plenty of the fans prefer looking at a real man like Dean Malenko, calmly stalking his boy-toy.

The stocky hunk intimidates the cute German pretty-boy.  Soon Dean has the jobber slapping the mat in pain as he grabs his boot and twists his leg in circles.

But this German lad is more than just a pretty face!  He likes to grapple down on the mat and soon has Malenko in a wrist-lock.  Scissoring his long legs around Malenko's thigh, Alex tries for a quick pin, but the Ice-Man kicks out.

Dean Malenko is like the Tony Soprano of the wrestling world.  He's not the guy you want to play around with.  Soon he picks up the cute kid in the baby-blue speedo and drops him on the back of his head.  Play-time is over now, kiddies!
After watching his prey twitching at his feet, Malenko picks Alex up by the hair, whips him into the ropes, then flattens him with a knee to the chin.  He goes for a cover, but Alex foolishly kicks out to absorb some more punishment.

Before the stunned boy-toy can recover, Malenko ties up his long legs in knots and sits down into some kind of Reverse Figure 4.  Cute Alex slaps the mat and screams for mercy.

Now we see more of Malenko's arsenal.  He Surfboard's the arms and stretches Alex in the wrong direction while maintaining the Leglock.

Malenko is taking his own sweet time with this pretty-boy.  He lays on the "Wunder-kind" and chokes him out with a Chinlock.  The camera-man almost bumps Alex in the nose with the camera as he zooms in on that beautiful face, trying to get as close as possible to the red-hot action.
Exhausted and beaten, Alex proves to be no match for the "Man of 1,000 Holds."  Dean rolls him up and pins him in an interesting split position, and all Alex can do is bitch about him pulling the back of his trunks.
