Pile Driver Position 1:
Inverted Bearhug

   


This gallery is dedicated to the first position of the Pile Driver maneuver: when you raise the other wrestler's body, holding him in an Inverted Bearhug until the blood floods his brain.  

Stunning Steve will soon stun the jobber in the sexy white gear by sitting down to blast the dude's face into the mat.  But first he holds the man in headstand position for a good 10 seconds.




The cute young ref can't believe the ruthless brutality of this big grappler, who is holding the helpless man in the beginning Pile Driver position.  "Ok, put him down gently!  Don't drop him on his head or you may hurt him!"




Check out the fear on the face of the young dude in purple shorts.  He just wants his opponent to hurry up and kneel down.  Get it over with rather than holding him in this frightening and humiliating upside-down position.
This young wrestler is in pretty great shape, lean and tan in his sexy trunks.  However, he realizes all that working out won't help him now, as he's about to be spiked head first into the floor.





The cowboy takes his time, slowly raising his hairy chested opponent, then holding the big dude aloft.  Normally, extra beef is an advantage in wrestling, but not when you're about to land with all your weight on the top of your head!

It's not often you see a big furry chested stud like this in such a helpless and hopeless position. Looking down at those white cowboy boots, he begs for mercy: "Oh no!  NO!  Please don't drive my head down into the mat!"




The smooth blond wrestler looks rather angry that Rob Van Dam busted his face open earlier in the match. He seeks revenge by preparing to bust Van Dam's neck by driving the muscular stud flat on his head. "Pay backs are a bitch, tough guy."
The Big Boss Man is checking out that hard ass on his nearly naked victim.  He slowly hugs the man tighter to pull those huge hamstrings closer to his face.


 
Funk has a cocky grin on his face as he prepares to shorten this jobber a few inches by compressing his spine.  Is he clawing the dude's belly, or playing with his draw string?
Here is cruel Terry Funk later in his career, again laughing as he holds a young man in Pile Driver Position.  Why is he gripping the kid's inner thighs and pulling his legs apart?




This Japanese Jobber has a look of worry on his face as he is slowly raised upside down.  The other wrestler peeks out from between his thighs, his face near the jobber's tight trunks.  "You're dead when I sit down, pretty-boy!  And there is no escape!"


Here is the master of the Pile Driver, Paul Orndorff, tightly hugging this chubby jobber around the soft belly.  The fat dude's body is curved backwards, which puts his bulging black trunks on display.
The wrestler in long red tights is also on display in a back-bend position as he is hugged tightly around the mid-section.  "Oh GOD!  No, don't do it man!   Don't plant me in the canvas!  I got a bad back already!"


 

This young man spreads his legs apart as he is hoisted up into an inverted bearhug.  Maybe he thinks this will lessen the impact of the Pile Driver, or maybe he wants his opponent to check out his package.




   
The stud in the red thong is holding the other wrestler in the Tombstone, or "69" position, enjoying some body contact before he destroys the other man by cracking his head on the ground.




The Faboulous One applies the Pile Driver by first carrying his opponent on his shoulder.  He is just showing off his strength!

Now the stud lowers the other wrestler into the dangerous position down between his thighs.  The victim presses his face against the Tarzan speedo to protect his neck from the impact.





AJ Styles applies his rare Step Over Pile Driver.  First he lifts his ripped opponent wearing the black tights into the traditional Piledriver Position #1.
Burying his face in the man's groin, AJ steps first his right leg, then his left leg, over the man's arms, stretching out his belly.
Now AJ will fall forward onto his elbows and knees, smacking the man's stretched out chest and gut into the mat under him.
